ERIC for
For catalysis community, ERIC has developed through the years many relevant activities:
- active participation in promoting catalysis at EU level, both in H2020 and at Parliament level
- preparation of documents, white papers and roadmaps to promote long-term vision, such as the "Science and technology roadmap on catalysis for europe".
- active interaction with companies and company bodies, such as CEFIC - the European Chemical Industry Council, to promote catalysis
- active participation in European Platforms, particularly SUSCHEM, the European Technology Platform for Sustainable Chemistry, to promote catalysis interests
- promoted the activities of the European Cluster on Catalysis, in coordination with the European Commission (RTD/ Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology Unit)
- organization of several educational activities, as described in the separate section
- active participation in enhancing visibility of catalysis research at European and International levels, also though the preparation of various vision and perspective papers, for example:
- Beyond Solar Fuels: Renewable Energy‐Driven Chemistry, ChemSusChem 2017, 10 (22), 4409-441
- Looking at the Future of Chemical Production through the European Roadmap on Science and Technology of Catalysis the EU Effort for a Long‐term Vision, ChemCatChem 2017, 9 (6), 904-909
- Grand challenges for catalysis in the Science and Technology Roadmap on Catalysis for Europe: moving ahead for a sustainable future, Catalysis Science & Technology 2017, 7 (22), 5182-5194
- Chemistry Future: Priorities and Opportunities from the Sustainability Perspective, ChemSusChem 2016, 10 (1), 6-13
- promotion of long-term vision for catalysis in international scientific events, for example:
- Looking at the future of catalysis: a personal vision and the prospects from the S&T roadmap on catalysis for Europe
- A vision on the future of sustainable chemical and energy vectors production from the S&T roadmap on catalysis for Europe
- promotion of catalysis with lecture at various relevant international and industrial meetings, for example
