ERIC aims to have a positive impact on the society, influencing the energy policies as well as studying always better ways to save energy and preserving the environment.

ERIC’s knowledge of catalysis and its application to all the energy consuming technologies as well as waste reuse play a role of paramount importance in the future development of the world. Understanding the inner mechanisms and the dynamics of the modern technologies, allows ERIC to implement cleaner processes, reducing and re-using wastes and, in final instance, to embrace a greater mission than simply disseminating knowledge.
